Today, Tucson!
Well, I am off to Mrs. America! I can't believe it was only eight weeks ago I won the title of Mrs. Utah America 2006! What an honor to represent the married women of the state of Utah!
It really has been a whirlwind! Finding the right gown (It is spectacular! Thanks to Julie Phillips and Pageant Consultants!) AND interview suit! I am set to go! How much fun can a girl have shopping in eight weeks! Well let me tell you.......I will never have this opportunity again and I love every minute of it! It was also a very special time to share with my husband and my mom. They encouraged me all the way and spent countless hours designing my state costume! It is wonderful!
I need to take this opportunity to thank my husband, Lee, my family and friends for their unconditional love and support. With out them, I would not be the woman I am today! I would also like to thank my two darling boys! Mommy will see you soon. I love you, be good and listen to Daddy!
I must also thank all of the former Mrs. Utah title-holders for their role in my preparations for Mrs. America. No question was too silly and they gave me countless amounts of time and coaching! I am honored to part of such an inspirational group of women! For ten years this program has flourished under the direction of Diane Ritter. Thank you, Diane, for ALL you do!
I leave for Tucson this morning and I have butterflies! Thank goodness my dad is able to make the trip with me as he has business to take care of there! I look forward to some uninterrupted time with him and what a handsome porter! Who else to carry ALL that luggage!.....just kidding, thank you dad!
Check back because I will be keeping this sight updated on a daily basis! Thanks to everyone for their support...I will keep you posted!
Love.

Hi Drennan
I just wanted to tell you good luck in the pageant. You proabably do not remember me but my parents and your mothers parents were friends back in New Mexico. I think it is neat you are in this pageant. I was in pageant and helped with a pageant system growing up. It is so much fun. I wish I could be there to see you but I am there is spirit. Have a good time and good luck again.

Hi Drennan,
I'm sure you are having a fun time down there. You look beautiful, but the best thing in that you have a beautiful personality. Your spirit shines though. Good luck, but most of all have fun. I wish I could be there and cheer you on, but my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Drennan,
Hi. This is your Texas cousin, Jay, and his offspring, Caitlin and Blake. We're mighty proud of you and happy that you are having such great success. We think you are the prettiest of all the pretty girls in the contest and, of course, that you have the sweetest soul in the group as well. If you don't win, then we'll know that the whole deal is fixed.
Love,
Jay, Caitlin and Blake.

Drennan,
Sounds like the Mrs. America Pageant was a great experience. In this time when great role models are critical for our young people, you stand as a beacon of beauty, talent, and integrity. I have enjoyed meeting you and thank you for your example and willingness to share you life with the citizens of Utah and the rest of the country.
Best wishes,
Nathan Clark
